It all begins with a glance at whom you expect to be the love of your life and you find yourself committed to her. Brian and Heather meet and they get attracted to each other despite Heather being a worldly girl from California. As for Brian, he is a homebody writer, intelligent, and a little bit reserved.
Heather is pregnant, but as far as we know, Brian desires no children. Heather later leaves and returns to California to deliver her child. Surrounded by friends and family, Heather delivers a bouncing baby girl and she is extremely delighted.
As she rests, she is approached by the nurse, who instructs her to get dressed to check on her child who is troubled. This is totally different of how Heather had imagined her first pregnancy to be like. The baby is in a deteriorating state and Heather is completely baffled. Brian and Heather have to make a final decision to ensure that their newborn daughter lives. But how much are they willing to go or to risk?
