Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone by J.K. Rowling
Harry Potter is an orphan living with cruel relatives and perhaps lives the most miserable life ever. You can’t believe where he sleeps, yet he does much of the house work. On one fateful day, Harry receives a letter that is trying to explain to him what he is and where he belongs, but can’t understand, until one mysterious visitor comes to his rescue, taking him to Hogwarts school, a school of witchcraft and wizardry.
A new life begins there and even if he is surrounded by people of powers, Harry’s magical powers are incomparable and that is what he truly is (special) and for that matter, Harry has always escaped the evil powers of Lord Voldemort who still plans to control the wizarding world.
Things seem bigger than Harry, but he becomes determined to protect the good from evil after he learns of a secret that lies within the walls of Hogwarts school.
