It is book that has focused on the combined approach to provide the knowledge about STEM education that is science, technology, engineering and mathematics. It contains the educational activities of all grades starting from the preschool up to the post doctorate. Author has focused on the educational activities both formal and informal means within the classroom and after the school respectively.
Author has motive to make this book primer that outlines the existing policy issues and programs of the STEM education. For the purpose Federal STEM education efforts’ assignments and condition of this study in the US has been added to enlighten the mind of readers for science, technology and mathematics educations. It has centered on several policy issues to the contemporary federal conversation about the STEM education.
This book has been written with the collaboration of faculty from Tufts University departments of education, mechanical engineering, child development, biology, chemistry, mathematics along with the astronomy and engineering educational outreach. Students of these educations work with the faculties and then research work is done how students learn in different areas. In different streams different topics have been discussed to prepare the researchers and professionals who contribute to improve pre K-16 education for all students.
